About The Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

  • To support the analysis of PFS Funding & Wealth portfolio by providing portfolio analytics, behavior and cross sell opportunities throughout the Customer Life Cycle
  • Monitor retail funding & wealth portfolio performance and advise the management on issue and key development
  • Advise, review and monitor funding gap, fluctuation and trend for regulatory and business requirements
  • Work closely with other functional group to ensure smooth process of RDM initiatives
  • Work with Retail Liabilities team to support DII product and programs
  • Support UOB regional office for initiatives, project and others

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative program, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Finance and Economics degree with quantitative focus.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in banking or related industry with proven track record
  • Team player who can work well with cross functional teams in UOBI and regionally, good communication skills (verbal and written) and self-motivated. Ability to collaborate with other business partners and stakeholders to address key business challenges and opportunities.
  • Self-starter, flexible with a proven ability to lead teams, as well as being able to take ownership and drive projects to completion.
  • Good computing skills: SAS – Programming, Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner; SQL and database familiarity. Familiarity with Python is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and meticulous.
