About This Role

  • The interaction strategy manager is responsible of Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Interactive strategist and analyst, providing guidance and support throughout the design process. Take a hands-on approach in leveraging customer needs, pain points, and behaviors to design, and implement of the company’s interaction strategy. This includes developing, usability testing reports, wireframes, recommended user flow screens, and/or low fidelity to high fidelity prototypes.
  • The interaction strategy manager works together with research, data analyst and design to gather data and translates insights into design outcomes. This person would uncover new user experience design ideas not limited to only to digital, but also use cases from online to offline, conduct value proposition feasibility and/or user interface usability tests on prototypes, and communicate the results of design tests and project implementation to stakeholders. Additionally, you will help to ensure that all departments within the bank uphold a user-centric focus in their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and processes. By giving consultation and training.
  • The interaction strategy manager has mastery of interaction design fundamentals and technical skills to execute design concepts both online and offline and wireframes required for mostly digital products and services. He or she is encouraged to stay up to date on the latest trends in interaction design and to develop a strong business acumen to meet the organization’s needs. Able to work on multiple tasks concurrently, getting involved across end-to-end project phases, and deliver on expectations within deadlines with a high level of changes and iterations required. In addition, demonstrate strong people management skills.

What is required and what we’re looking for

  • 5-7 years of experience as a hands-on designer in the industry. This could include experience in visual communication design, interaction design, product design, service design, or any other relevant digital design discipline. Alternatively, you could have a degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field, with equivalent practical design experience.
  • A portfolio that showcases your interaction design skills and your understanding of the human-cantered design process. You should also be willing to learn and iterate and be passionate about design and storytelling.
  • Experience working with web or mobile based technologies using design and prototyping tools. This could include tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, ProtoPie, FigJam, etc.
  • Fluency in Indonesian and English communications (both verbal and written). You should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A deep sense of accountability, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to take ownership of your work, be flexible, and be able to work well with others to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary design, business, and tech team. This would give you the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of people from different disciplines and learn from each other.
  • Some understanding of the FinTech, eCommerce and/or digital travel and lifestyle industries.
  • The ability to form consensus across a broad, fast-moving organization through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This would be important if you are working on large projects with many stakeholders.
  • Experience working with web or mobile based technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android Studio, XCode, etc.) and Design System. This would give you the skills to work on a variety of projects and to contribute to the development of a design system.
  • Effective design sensibilities as they relate to applying a brand to digital experiences. This would be important if you are interested in working on projects that involve branding.
