About The Department
Client Advisor is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Focus on sales and ensure all the activities fully comply with regulation and service the customer correctly.
•Conduct daily and weekly planning of sales activities in order to reach those targets
•Increase customer account balance through continuous execution of sales activities (via calls, walk-ins, and visits):
•Introduce and explain products / promotions
•Provide product consultation
•Handle customer account-related administrative procedures / paperwork
•Keep track of customer communications and transactions
•Stay updated on UOB products and promotions, and preferably also market products, players, and trends
•Establish and maintain good relationships with customers:
•Regular courtesy calls – to check up on customers, not just for sales purposes
•Profiling: understand needs, preferences, life styles
•Solve customer issues
•Conduct financial planning
•Uphold an overall superior service standard that is in line with UOB Wealth Management banking image and reputation
•Ensure overall customer satisfaction
•Serve as focal point between UOB customer acquisition team and UOB telebanking team in ensuring seamless synchronization of customer knowledge
•Work closely with ALL members of the branch team
•All sales activities must be done in compliance with company and government regulations and policies
• Bachelor Degree
• Have WAPERD and AAJI certifications (preferred)
• Have experience as a banking Relationship Manager min. 5 years
• Have knowledge of general Indonesian banking procedures and regulations
• Have knowledge of banking operations
• Has experience in selling Funding, Wealth Management and Investment products
